IGHE has designed a special summer program in the San Francisco Bay Area for the younger generation, those quickly approaching the time of serious consideration into their academic dreams and professional goals. Our program focuses on extensive, interactive tours of world-renowned University of California Berkeley and Stanford University. In addition, we will visit some of Silicon Valley’s leading technology companies, and gain a better understanding of future career prospects. Throughout the trip, there will be many fun activities and visits to the most popular and memorable attractions in the region.

 

Program Highlights

This two-week program is designed to help students understand the U.S. economy, life and culture as well as the education system/methodologies. Our aim is to provide students with enough background about America so that they can make a prudent decision in terms of moving abroad and making the right university and career selection.

 

Key highlights include:

  • Students will tour the prestigious Stanford and Berkeley universities as well as connect directly with the faculty, students and admin personnel there. Here students will receive details about admissions, different programs, campus life, extra-curricular activities, Q&A with current students, etc.
  • Students will visit some of the most popular high-tech companies and have the chance to form direct connections with people working there.
  • Students will gain valuable in-depth experience of the North American clime and lifestyle; this will help them make informed decisions regarding their future move to and education in the U.S.
  • Certificate of Completion and Letter of Recommendation

 

Sightseeing & Tours

The Californian landscape includes cliff-lined beaches, gigantic Redwood forests, the Sierra Nevada mountains, Central Valley farmlands and the Mojave Desert. We have carefully crafted our Program to include visits to the best there is to see in the Bay Area, including the Golden Gate Bridge, Union Square, Fisherman’s Wharf, Lombard Street, Santa Cruz, Napa Valley and Yosemite, among other tourist hotspots.
